Daniel was born in Savannah Georgia. His family move to Texas in 1974 and live in Lake Dallas from 1975 to 1980. In 1980 Daniel’s family moved to Double Oak and into the Denton ISD, where he was in the first 6th Grade class of Sam Houston. He then went to Calhoun Jr. High and graduated Denton High (class of 1989)
Daniel met Chrissie Bauder (a life long Dentonite) in 1994 and was married in 1996. They have lived in Denton for the past 25 years. They have two children.
Daniel has been in the IT industry for the past 26 years. In those 20+ years, during which he has improved processes, trained staff and new users, and implemented new systems in high stakes situations. This has allowed him to develop key, transferable skills that provide the versatility and creativity to calmly and quickly overcome unexpected challenges.
Daniel is active in Denton and the school district. He has volunteered with the Wilson PTA and worked to establish the Watch DOGS (Dads of Great Students) at the campus. He regularly helps with the Keep Denton Beautiful and attends various Denton activities, having walked in the July 4th parade for the past 18 years.
